ASP.NET - GridView - dataformatstring edit mode

In my case I have datetime field in my gridview
I format it using dataformatstring property which is set to {0:d}
When I am in edit mode, it still displays date and time, but after setting ApplyFormatInEditMode to True - problem is solved.
